Debating which former Tennessee Vols player will star in conference titles of NFL Playoffs leads our Volunteers periscope show for Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.

It’s time to kickoff the weekend. The Tennessee Vols continue to bring us a ton of news, and that leaves us with lots to discuss in our afternoon periscope video show.

In this show, we discuss former Vols still playing in the NFL Playoffs with the AFC and NFC Championship games on Sunday. There’s one on each side.

Meanwhile, there is some coverage of a Lady Vols game to discuss, and I am a bit brutal with my takes. Sticking with basketball, a Rick Barnes rotation story came out as well.

So we have former Vols and basketball news to bring you. That’s all here on our Periscope show. Below it, we’ll have a summary of each topic.

1. Which former Vol will perform better in the NFL Playoffs Sunday?

Malik Jackson of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Derek Barnett of the Philadelphia Eagles are both playing Sunday, in the AFC and NFC Championship games respectively. Which one has a better chance of standing out?

2. Lady Vols lose at Notre Dame. Is Holly Warlick the issue?

Despite being 16-2, the loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish was horrendous Thursday. And it leads us to questioning Holly Warlick once again.

3. Rick Barnes talks about rotation.

Wes Rucker tweeted that Rick Barnes says he’s close to putting Yves Pons in Tennessee basketball’s rotation. A four-star recruit, he should have done this with the freshman a long time ago.
