A lifelong Denver Broncos fan was able to meet Peyton Manning after winning Courtyard’s Super Bowl contest. The contest gives a fan a chance to sleep over at the stadium and wake up there before the game. It also allows them to actually attend the Super Bowl.

The winner, Courey Marshall, is also a Peyton Manning fan. According to the YouTube video posted by Courtyard Hotels, which you can see above, Manning is Marshall’s favorite player.

When Marshall won, he was set up to go claim the tickets and meet Manning. However, he was led to believe that he was just going to a photoshoot as one of the finalists and went with his wife.

But as he got set up for the photoshoot, he heard Manning’s voice over the intercom directing him which poses to do for the shoot. He had Marshall snapping the ball for fun and got Marshall’s wife involved, snapping the ball to him.

Eventually, Manning came out from behind the curtains, at which point Marshall jumped up in excitement. Marshall told him he honors and appreciates what Manning has done. He also yelled out “Omaha!” at one point.

Manning presented Marshall and his wife with the tickets to the Super Bowl and let them know they won the contest. They’ll be able to sleep over at the Minnesota Vikings stadium the night before the Super Bowl.

It’s hard to think that Manning wasn’t behind tricking Marshall to thinking he was going for a photo shoot. After all, everybody knows that Manning is a legendary prankster, and he pulled it off again with that one. Chalk up another great performance to The Sheriff’s legacy.
