Experts tend to agree. Let’s just take a look at the bracketology projections for the Tennessee Lady Vols among the most prominent writers.
Charlie Creme of ESPN has them down to a No. 4 seed. In his bracket, they would be in the Spokane region and play the first two games in Knoxville and host Mercer or Southern in the first round. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who beat them earlier this year, would be the No. 1 seed in that region.
Fellow FanSided site SummitHoops led its projection by asking the same question we’re asking: What do we do with the Tennessee Lady Vols? Well, they somehow kept them as a No. 2 seed, facing Robert Morris in the first round in Knoxville. Tennessee, in this bracket, would be in the Albany region with the No. 1 seed UConn Huskies.
Meanwhile, CollegeSportsMadness has the Tennessee Lady Vols as a No. 3 seed. In this one, they face the Belmont Bruins in the first round in Knoxville. They would be on the side with the Baylor Bears as the No. 1 seed.
