The Tennessee Lady Vols face the Razorbacks in Fayetteville Thursday night. Here is the information you need for the women’s basketball Volunteers’ game.

After a rough period of four losses in six outings, the Tennessee Lady Vols got back on track last week with two wins. One, against the Vanderbilt Commodores, was nothing to be impressed with. But defeating the Texas A&M Aggies for a revenge game was.

Now, Tennessee is moving back up the upper-echelon of the SEC. And tonight, they will be playing with a multi-game winning streak for the first time since they started the season undefeated.

Arkansas comes into the game having just snapped its four-game losing streak, defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road 74-66. The win was huge for Mike Neighbors’s first team in Fayetteville.

The Hogs are back above .500, but two home games against the Lady Vols tonight and then against the Missouri Tigers coming up are major tests for them. Here is everything you need to know about tonight’s game.

Arkansas is a bit of a tough test for the Tennessee Lady Vols since it’s a road game. However, following that, they have a mini-brutal schedule coming up.

It’s not quite that rough four-game stretch they failed so miserably in. But Tennessee will host the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide before visiting the Missouri Tigers. Although Alabama is reeling now, they’ve shown flashes of success.

Meanwhile, Georgia and Mizzou are among the elite teams of the conference. As a result, those are two huge games for Holly Warlick’s team. Given the respect they’re trying to get back, they need to win both games.

Over the past two games, the Tennessee Lady Vols returned to their winning ways by relying heavily on veterans Mercedes Russell and Jaime Nared when the freshmen have struggled. The method is simple.

Feed Russell under the basket as much as possible, and Nared needs to get to the hoop and draw fouls if her shot isn’t falling. Doing those things combined with freshmen playing well could make this team unstoppable. However, we haven’t seen that yet.
