The Tennessee Vols men’s and women’s basketball programs slumping lead our Volunteers periscope show for Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.

The stretch run is set to begin for both Tennessee Vols basketball programs. And given how they’re currently playing, neither comes at a good time.

Those storylines lead our All for Tennessee official video show for today. On top of that, we discuss dates to look ahead to for the football program.

So once again, we focus on the Big Three sports and have a little to discuss with each of them. All the stories are interesting as well.

With those topics on hand, here is our video show for today. As always, you can see a summary of our report below it.

1. Is Tennessee basketball slumping again in February?

Last year, the Tennessee Vols hinted at a possible NCAA Tournament appearance at the end of January. Then they hit a roadblock in February. Could the stretch run of the month this year also be ruining what fans expected out of the season?

2. Tennessee Lady Vols’ NCAA Tournament position falling.

After appearing to get back on track, the Tennessee Lady Vols are now on a two-game losing streak. Currently, the NCAA Selection Committee has them No. 12 overall in the nation, but they don’t deserve that ranking. At the same time, it’s significantly lower than what it could have been if they had not blown games to inferior teams. That is once again an indictment against Holly Warlick.

3. Tennessee football spring practice dates revealed.

The Tennessee Vols will begin spring practice on Tuesday, March 20, and they will have their spring game on Saturday, April 21. There are a ton of things to cover this spring practice with a new head coach, and all of them will be interesting, from a new staff to early signees to a quarterback race.
