The Tennessee Vols basketball game vs. Georgia, the women’s SEC Tournament and Keller Chryst lead our Friday, March 2, 2018 Volunteers periscope video show.

Happy Friday to everybody in Vol Nation. The news for the Tennessee Vols today is as crazy as the weather: all over the place. But for the most part, it’s exciting news all the way around on Rocky Top.

Our video periscope show today includes All for Tennessee contributor Billy Williford. Together, we are going to discuss the men’s and women’s basketball programs in different capacities and close with the football program. They all have big news for the day.

So here’s our show for the first Friday in March of 2018. And as always, the summary of our conversation is below.

1. Tennessee Vols men’s basketball preview vs. Georgia

Tennessee basketball hosts the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday night with a chance to win the regular season SEC Championship. To do that, they have to win, and the Auburn Tigers have to lose to the South Carolina Gamecocks. We’ll preview the Tennessee-Georgia game and analyze the chances Rick Barnes’s team actually has to capture that crown and the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament.

2. Tennessee Lady Vols SEC Tournament preview vs. South Carolina

The Tennessee Lady Vols will continue their run in the SEC Tournament against the South Carolina Gamecocks Friday night. However, that game is incredibly unpredictable with both teams’ best player questionable. The winner of the game, though, is in great shape to make it to Sunday with the Georgia Bulldogs or Missouri Tigers next on the list.

3. Keller Chryst transfers to Vols.

Tennessee football has added Stanford graduate transfer quarterback Keller Chryst. Chryst joins a roster that also includes Jarrett Guarantano, Will McBride and JT Shrout. We discuss what his addition means for Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols and if he is even worth bringing on.
