2018 SEC TOURNAMENT BIGGEST THREATS

The Kentucky Wildcats are finding a way to play together which is the way coach John Calipari has been preaching all season. The Wildcats are known for having one of the youngest teams each year but this season ranks the youngest in the country.

Calipari always finds a way to reload each year but seemed a little more difficult. The start of February was a gloomy stretch for the Wildcats as they had a four-game losing streak, which was only the seventh such streak in program history.

Kentucky quickly turned that into a three-game winning streak against Alabama, Arkansas, and Missouri to finish the season on a strong note.

The SEC Tournament has been kind to Kentucky in the past, and with the wide open SEC, this could be another year the Wildcats added another trophy to their case.

Missouri plays a type of basketball they can put you to sleep, much like Virginia. They play hard-nosed defense and pressure all game long but struggle to score at times.

With a strength of schedule of 29, the Tigers have played their fair share of good opponents. They have four wins against teams (Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Texas A&M) in the top 50 of RPI. They also have three losses to West Virginia, Florida, and Arkansas by a total of eight points.

This team is already a dangerous but add Michael Porter Jr. and the Tigers are a team no one wants to see in any tournament game. With or without Porter Jr. I like Missouri to play well in the SEC Tournament and have an opportunity to contend for a Title.
