The Tennessee Vols men and women NCAA Tournament teams along with spring practice lead our Volunteers video periscope show for Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

The excitement is set to begin! The Tennessee Vols men’s and women’s basketball teams are now firmly placed in their NCAA Tournament brackets, and they are set to begin play later this week. Of course that leads our video show for today.

We’ll go into a bit more detail on the men, seeing as how they’re set to play tomorrow. But the women won’t be ignored. Meanwhile, football spring practice is coming up. We have to preview that as well.

This all makes for a huge news day for us. So let’s get started. Here is our Tennessee Vols video show. As always, you can see a summary of our discussion below.

1. Tennessee Vols to face Wright State on Thursday.

Tennessee basketball will open its NCAA Tournament against the Wright State Raiders Thursday around noon. They should win the game, but there are some things working against them. I’ll get into those and break down their overall bracket as a No. 3 seed.

2. Lady Vols a 3-seed in NCAA Tournament.

The Tennessee Lady Vols earned a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which was good enough for them to host the first weekend. They open against the Liberty Flames and, should they win, will face the winner of the Oregon State Beavers and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. However, the focus for Holly Warlick’s team is not the first weekend. This time, it’s about already looking ahead to the Sweet Sixteen because of the two opponents they’ll likely face then.

3. Tennessee football spring practice less than a week away.

Tennessee Vols football is set to begin spring practice in less than a week. There are a ton of storylines surrounding Jeremy Pruitt’s first team, and we’ll get into some of them here.
