On the day he got his new contract extension, multiple videos surfaced of Phillip Fulmer showing his incredible support for Tennessee football’s new head coach. Of course, Jeremy Pruitt is a guy Fulmer hired, so that would naturally be the case.

Still, the support is enough to make anybody excited about the future of the program. The most notable video is a hype video Fulmer released on his Twitter account.

It has hype music with Fulmer narrating a letter to Pruitt. Here’s a look at it now.

That should get everybody in Vol Nation going. A program clamoring for stability for such a long time now appears to have it thanks to a hall of fame coach who is confident he made a hall of fame hire.

Speaking of that confidence, though, Marshall Hughes of WATE also posted multiple video clips of interviews with Fulmer on his Twitter account Thursday. And one of them shows Fulmer noting that he’s even more sure of the Pruitt hire.

The new long-term athletic director also talked about his role with the program and his confidence that season tickets will be tough to get in a couple of years. It’s clear he has lots of trust in Pruitt and also wants to help out as much as possible.

And speaking of the stability, Fulmer didn’t shy away from that either. He noted that he is here to get things rolling.

All of this stems from Fulmer’s confidence in his hire as Tennessee football’s next head coach. It’s very clear he’s comfortable in his new role, and he’s also ready to support Jeremy Pruitt as much as he possibly can.

Meanwhile, Pruitt was clearly aware the day he was hired of how lucky he is to work under Fulmer. So this seems to be a perfect relationship. And Fulmer is doing his part to regenerate the excitement on Rocky Top.
