The 2018 NFL Draft begins on April 26th. Where are the best landing spots for former Tennessee Vols defensive back Rashaan Gaulden? Where will he be drafted?

Tennessee football has had some recent success when it comes to the NFL Draft. Three quick mentions that are still in the short term memory banks of Vol fans are Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and Super Bowl Champion, Derek Barnett.

So now we turn out attention to the Vols that have entered the 2018 NFL Draft. Will they get drafted? If so, where are a couple of best landing spots for each player? This article, our attention is turned to the former defensive back, Rashaan Gaulden.

In his last season on Rocky Top, Gaulden emerged as a leader for the team. He played with unmatched passion and played with more energy than any other player on the team. Gaulden flew to the ball and seemed like he was around or involved in every defensive play.

However, with everything that Gaulden did right he did have some slip-ups. One of the most notable was during the Alabama game last season. After the Vols intercepted a pass and took it to the house, Gaulden flipped off the Alabama crowd in celebration. It was not the best look for him, but college kids make mistakes, and that is one Gaulden can and will learn from.

By most, he is predicted to be drafted somewhere between the third and fifth round. Gaulden will bring a tough-minded style of play to any team. He flies to the football and is always involved in defensive plays and his teammates will feed off of the engery he brings. Any team that passes on Gaulden will be kicking themselves in the future.
