The 2018 NFL Draft begins on April 26th. Where are the best landing spots for former Tennessee Vols Evan Berry? Will we see if his name is called on draft day?

Tennessee football has had some recent success when it comes to the NFL Draft. Three quick mentions that are still in the short term memory banks of Vol fans are Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and Super Bowl Champion, Derek Barnett.

So now we turn out attention to the Vols that have entered the 2018 NFL Draft. Will they get drafted? If so, where are a couple of best landing spots for each player? This article, our attention is turned to the former safety Evan Berry.

Like clockwork, Berry found the end zone time and time again. And, if it was not a touchdown it would be a long return to help give the Vols great field position.

His sophomore season, Berry started becoming known around the nation and was being compared to Devin Hester.

In that season, Berry had 21 kick returns for 804 yards and three touchdowns. It was surprising that teams were even still kicking to him late in the season.

Berry ended his junior season early with a season-ending knee injury but he was on pace to have another all-conference year when it came to returning kicks.

Since the season has been over Berry has come out to say he wants to play offense in the NFL. Which, should not be surprising, there were discussions in Knoxville that Berry would be explosive on offense and that Butch Jones and his coaching staff needed to find a way to get Berry the ball on offense. That did not happen.

However, some NFL offensive coordinator will give him a chance based on how well he is at returning kicks. I would be surprised if Evan Berry is not on an NFL roster next season.
