Florida Gators defensive line coach Sal Sunseri, once Tennessee’s defensive coordinator, tweeted credit to himself for NFL Draft picks he didn’t coach.

As unpopular as the Florida Gators are on Rocky Top, Sal Sunseri is right there with him. The disastrous hire of him as defensive coordinator in 2012 is the biggest reason Derek Dooley got fired that season.

Well, Tennessee football fans now get a reason to laugh at them both. Now the defensive line coach of the Florida Gators, Sunseri is trying to take credit for NFL Draft picks he didn’t even coach.

Sunseri retweeted a graphic Friday morning showing players the Gators’ coaching staff had coached who were taken in the 2018 NFL Draft. He showed it with a hilarious #whosnext hashtag.

Here’s the problem: he never coached two of those players that he claimed. Sunseri was defensive ends coach for the Florida State Seminoles when Derrick Nnadi played defensive tackle there. Those are two different positions. On top of that, Josh Sweat enrolled at Florida State in 2015. Sunseri’s last year there was 2014.

So yes, the Florida Gators and Sal Sunseri are taking credit for two players he never coached. Nnadi took the initiative to call him out for that on Twitter, and as you can see below, that forced Sunseri to delete the tweet.

The Tennessee Vols got trolled hard for taking credit for NFL Draft picks their staff coached. But all of those picks were actually coached by those players.

Meanwhile, the Florida Gators are out here spreading lies about who their guys coached. It’s one of the most hilarious and pathetic attempts at taking credit ever! What would you expect from UF, though?

This is the same program that tried to avoid playing the LSU Tigers in the middle of 2016. Everything about the program is a laughingstock, and people on Rocky Top know that. They also have a bad taste in their mouth from Sunseri. So this was a great way to laugh at both.
