The Tennessee Vols men’s basketball team continues to get early season praise. Jerry Palm of CBS Sports listed Rick Barnes’s team as a No. 1 seed in his way-too-early bracketology rankings and as the No. 3 seed overall. The other top seeds were the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the Duke Blue Devils and the Kansas Jayhawks.

"It is too early to start talking about a bracket for the 2019 NCAA Tournament?  Yes, it is, but we don’t let little things like a calendar stop us. At least we now know who has decided to stay in the NBA Draft and who is returning to school."
