Sliding under the radar is just how good this century has been for the Tennessee basketball program. With all the success comes memorable games that fans will never forget.

As we start the long dreadful summer months that are sometimes too rainy. And, other times too hot. There is light at the end of the tunnel with football around the corner. But, even “around the corner” seems like a lifetime away.

Around the corner ever further away is the college basketball season. And, surprisingly the Tennessee basketball program has had a decent century to look back on. We recently wrote a piece about the top ten players from the 21st century.

In this post, we are going to take a look back at some of the most memorable games from this century.

To be honest, the Vols have played in a lot of fantastic games which made condensing the list to ten a pretty tough task. Not to take away from the Tennessee football program but…well, you know.

However, the basketball program could easily contend as it pertains to memorable games. In fact, one could argue that the basketball teams gave more positive, memorable games than the football teams.

Don’t be alarmed, not every game on our list was a win. Losses can be just as memorable as wins and sometimes more memorable. Especially when you think about the last decade of Tennessee football.

I don’t want this post to be too much of an informative style. I want to be personable with all of you all if I have a good story with the corresponding game. More of a conversation style type of article. After you read, please head to Twitter and Facebook or comment below to let us know some of your stories involving the games.

So, sit back and enjoy the trip down memory lane as we break down our top ten most memorable games from the 21st century.
