7. 2007-08 at Vanderbilt

I’ll be honest; there is not a lot about this game I remember. I only remember how much Vanderbilt sucked, how much their court sucked, how much Kevin Stallings sucked, and how I, with all my heart despised Shan Foster.

I mean Kevin Stallings still sucks just ask Pittsburgh fans.

Tennessee was coming off one of the most remarkable wins in program history. They beat the number one ranked Memphis Tigers in a one-two matchup, and just three games later they had to travel to Nashville.

Obviously, the recent circumstance made the game more difficult, but it is just like the Tennessee thing to do to lose their first game being ranked number one in the country.

You might be asking yourself why I disliked Shan Foster. And, that is because he went off. Foster scored a game-high 32 points as he shot 6-for-9 from the three-point line.

If you remember the game, one of the frustrating parts was how Lofton was left out of the offensive gameplan under five minutes to play. One thing fans can complain about on Bruce Pearl is how sometimes the run and gun, playground style of offensive hurt the team.

Lofton as 6-for-15 from the three-point line. Quite frankly it shouldn’t matter if he was 0-for-30, you still let him shoot.

Final score: Tennessee 69, Vanderbilt 72
