Jemery Pruitt and the Vols are pulling out all the stops to make year one a success. Even if that means bringing in graduate transfers.

There are not high expectations for the Tennessee football program in Jemery Pruitt’s first season. In fact, most fans think a six-win season. Anything better than last season will be fine for fans. However, Jemery Pruitt is pulling out all the stops for the Vols to be relevant in the SEC again.

Even if being relevant means bringing in graduate transfers that is what Pruitt is going to do for the Vols. That is not to say graduate transfers are bad. In fact, every transfer Tennessee got this season could come in a make a huge impact.

And, at this point, the Vols will take all the talent they can get to start building a winning football program again. Just a win in the SEC Conference will be an improvement from an all-time bad a season ago.

Although graduate transfers are only on campus for one season, some two, Pruitt and Vols fans are hoping they can make a huge difference. There is no doubt that each of the four players will have their opportunity to show they belong on the field.

In this post, we are going to rank each of the four players based on the potential impact they can have for the Vols next season. Hopefully, for fans, each player can make a significant difference. Maybe they are the missing pieces to get the program back to being relevant and not a bottom feeder in the SEC.
