Quarterback – Keller Chryst

I think most fans would rank Keller Chryst first in this ranking. After all, he does play quarterback. And, we all know that quarterback can make a huge difference on any team.

Most everyone knows that Chryst comes to Knoxville from playing at Stanford University. His numbers were not the best at Stanford with a completion percentage around 55 percent. But, he did have a 19-to-6 touchdown to interception ratio.

The 6-foot-5, 234-pound quarterback is more of a pro-style type of player that will fit Tyson Helton’s system better than Jarrett Guarantano.

And, with the Pruitt wanting every position open for competition, Chryst should have an opportunity to become the starter. One thing is for sure that he will have his chance in summer and fall workouts.

Now, with Chryst playing the quarterback position he may not even get to play. The other day, fellow site-expert Caleb Calhoun wrote that Jarrett Guarantano was doing everything right, so who knows who will be the starter.

We’ve ranked the graduate transfers in order of potential impact which by now you must know that we probably messed up the list completely.

However, each transfer is going to get their shot at playing time, and each player will have their opportunity to make a lasting impact for the Vols.
