No. 1 Grade – A

So, when you think about getting an A in school it ranges from a 93-100 and above. It is hard to rank any other coach in the same category as Nick Saban but Dan Mullen gets the nod.

Dan Mullen

University of Florida

69-46 Overall Record

We all know about the success Dan Mullen had at Mississippi State. Since 2009, Mullen led the Bulldogs to five eight-win seasons or more.

I think sometimes people forget or don’t comprehend just how good Mullen was in Mississippi.

Moving forward, Tennessee fans will get a chance to see Mullen’s teams in action every single year now that he is with the Florida Gators.

If he can translate well to Florida than Jeremy Pruitt and the Vols will have their hands full for years to come.

Nick Saban

University of Alabama

218-62-1 (college)

There is honestly nothing I could write about Saban that hasn’t already been said a million times. He is one of the greatest football coaches in the history of football.

Since 2007 season when he became Alabama’s head football coach, he has only lost 20 games. Whats more impressive is Saban has five National Championships and two in the last three years.

Saban will be the hardest test for any team as long as he is still at Alabama. However, that just give Pruitt more chances to be the first assistant to beat the legend.
