No.1 Penn State Nittany Lions

Number one on our list is the Penn State Nittany Lions for multiple reasons. They are back to being a really good football team. The last two seasons the Nittany Lions are an impressive 22-5 record. And, back-to-back seasons playing in huge bowl games which were the Rose and Fiesta.

Another reason this would be a fantastic home and home series is because James Franklin is the head coach in Happy Valley. Yes, the same James Franklin that owned the Vols. When Franklin was at Vanderbilt, he got the Commodores to back-to-back nine win seasons.

Not only was James Franklin owning the state of Tennessee he was talking trash to the Vols while doing so. Back in the 90’s Vanderbilt was the JV team in the state, and somehow Franklin made Vol fans dread and fear playing Vandy.

This would be a great home, and home series and not to mention going to Happy Valley to play would be a scene. The Penn State home crowd is one of the best in the land so that it would be another great atmosphere.
