It’s only June, and Vols fans are getting excited about the 2018 season. Only just a short few months away and it will be football time in Tennessee.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the 2018 season for the Tennessee football program. It is Jeremy Pruitt’s first season as the head football coach.

Any time there is a new head coach, the fans get rejuvenated. Anything new is exciting in its own right, but Pruitt leading the Vols is more special for a couple of reasons.

Number one, the incompetent coach Butch Jones will not be on the sidelines. And, number two, the program needs something different after the worst season in program history.

In most fans eyes, every game will be exciting especially in Pruitt’s first season. Not to mention it is football, and in Knoxville, football is everything.

Most fans live for Saturdays. Saturdays are for Tennessee football. There are not many better fans in the entire nation than in Knoxville. And, in the past, it doesn’t even matter if the program was struggling, the fans still showed up in full force.

In this post, we are going to rank the top five game that fans should get most excited for. Like we mentioned every game is going to be exciting, but there are five that are going to mean just a little bit more.

To be frank, this was a pretty easy ranking. Now, some readers might disagree with the order, but as far as the five games, there shouldn’t be much of a discussion. However, I suppose there might be some discussion so let it begin with our fifth-ranked most exciting game of the 2018 season.
