There isn’t much to get excited about when it comes to the 2018 SEC Media Days. However, Tennessee is sending three Vols that should be exciting interviews.

There isn’t much going on during the long summer months. However, with SEC Media Days right around the corner, it means one step closer to Tennessee football. And, everyone is always super excited about the return of college football.

The 2018 SEC media days will be held July 16-19 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia. Tennessee fans will get their chance to listen to head coach Jeremy Pruitt and three Tennessee players on Wednesday, July 18th.

The three Vols that will be attending SEC media days was announced on Twitter earlier Wednesday afternoon.

There isn’t much to discuss with the three picks. Each player deserves a chance and are solid picks to represent Tennessee in a way that will make everyone proud. However, wouldn’t it be awesome to hear Jauan Jennings and his story? Or, Nigel Warrior, he is getting a lot of buzz around the college football world.

Former five-star prospect and the only senior attending is Kyle Phillips. He had to be a shoe-in, right? Phillips has been one of the players that have impressed the coaching staff this spring. And, he should be a player that the defense looks to as a leader on the field and in the locker room.

Tight end Eli Wolf will also take the podium for the Vols. This pick comes as a bit of a surprise, yet we completely understand the reasoning. Wolf has been putting in hard work this spring, and it paid off as he was voted the Most Improved Player after the Orange and White Game.

Finally, wide receiver Marquez Callaway will be making the trip as one of the speakers. Callaway became the go-to guy After a sophomore campaign that displayed 406 receiving yards on 24 catches and five touchdowns. It will be interesting to see what Callaway can accomplish with a new coaching staff and another offseason under his belt.
