No. 5 – February 24 @ Ole Miss Rebels

Minutes: 31

FG: 2-of-5

3PT: 0-of-1

Assists: 8

Points: 6

Ole Miss has popped up once before, and maybe it’s because they weren’t that good of a team. Actually, they were the worst team in the SEC.

The game in Knoxville was an absolute blow-out. The Rebels didn’t stand a chance. However, when the Vols traveled Oxford, the game was much closer. Tennessee ended up winning 73-65. The game was never in question necessarily, but it was close.

Jordan Bone played 31 minutes but only attempted five shots from the field. And, one three-point shot which tuned out to be a six-point performance from the sophomore guard.

However, this particular game makes our list because he played so many minutes and had eight assists. The eight assists tied a season-high for Bone and was a game high.

The one thing Ole Miss did well was their guards were very active. They took a lot of shots and were aggressive going to the rim. It was a tough game for Bone defensively but held the three guards to respectable numbers.

As we mentioned, he wasn’t a fan of “old” SEC West teams as the trend continues as we move on.
