Ed Orgeron
LSU Tigers
31-33 Overall Record
1-1 Bowl Record
Oh, Ed. How Vol fans love you. Truth be told, Orgeron is a likable guy, but he isn’t that great of a football coach. His 31-33 overall record mainly comes from the failure at Ole Miss where Orgeron had a 10-25 record.
Admittedly, he is improving as his Tigers went 9-4 last season with an opportunity for ten wins. However, when you have a losing record, you can’t be considered that good of a coach.
Plus we can’t move him any higher based on the fact that he might not be at LSU long. If fans got tired of Les Miles, I can’t imagine they will love coach O much longer if they continue to lose to Troy.
Mark Stoops
Kentucky Wildcats
26-36 Overall Record
0-2 Bowl Record
Do you remember that kid on the playground that thought he was a better athlete than he actually was? Now, introducing Mark Stoops.
There is no doubt coaching at Kentucky isn’t easy. And, dealing with those noxious fans, yuck. But, Stoops and his Wildcats have simply been okay. What do you expect from a university that spends all of the (cough, cough) “donations” paying basketball players millions of dollars for one year?
