It turns out that Charlotte wasn’t on NCAA 14 either so I had to substitute them with one of the only unranked teams that I could add that week, which was Air Force.

In typical homecoming fashion or playing an inferior opponent, the Vols got off to a slow start. They were down 7-3 after the first half. It took a late score right before halftime for the Vols to take a three-point lead.

Air Force scored first after halftime to tie the game up before Tennessee scored 28 unanswered points to end the game.

Tennessee football moved to 6-3 on the season. The Vols need Georgia and South Carolina to start losing games, or they won’t find themselves in Atlanta.

Players of the Game

Offense – Running back, Ty Chandler

Another game and another player of the game. Chandler went off for 118 yards on 14 carries with three touchdowns. He also added two receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown.

Defense – Linebacker, Darrin Kirkland Jr.

Seriously, maybe staying healthy is all that mattered. Kirkland Jr. with another impressive game. He had ten tackles with two sacks and an interception.

Key games around the SEC
