  • Oh, Jeremy Pruitt is becoming loved among Tennessee football fans. So long to the days where Tennessee made the games against Kentucky close. The Vols laid out a 59-10 butt kicking to move to 7-3 on the season with two games left.

Let’s pause and reflect for a moment. If the Vols are 7-3 with two games left in the season fans will be calling for Phillip Fulmer to give Pruitt an extension. This has to be the best case scenario for the Vols.

Tennessee outgained the Wildcats 518 to 211 in total yards. Ty Chandler was five yards short of another 100-yard game. Jeremy Banks received a lot of playing time in the blowout with 14 carries for 69 yards.

    Players of the Game

Offense – Running back, Ty Chandler and Tight end, Dominick Wood-Anderson

I couldn’t pick between the two even though Chandler had a three-touchdown game. He rushed for 95 yards on 13 carries.

Wood-Anderson, on the other hand, had four receptions for 111 yards. A 27.7 yard averaged with 46 yards after the catch.

Defense – Defensive lineman, Kyle Phillips

Yes! The senior finally had a game that we all know he can have every game. Phillips had six tackles with one sack.
