Tennessee football travels to Auburn and advances to 5-1 on the season with a 24-17 win. Now, to be fair Auburn isn’t having that great of a season. The Tigers now fall to 2-3, and it is safe to say that Gus Malzahn is getting fired.

Dominick Wood-Anderson had another outstanding game with three catches for 57 yards and one touchdown. Keller Chryst continued getting Wood-Anderson involved in the offense, and it paid off in a big way.

Chryst was 17-for-34 with 219 passing yards and one touchdown. Still not great numbers but much better than the past two weeks with Guarantano starting.

Players of the Game

Offense-  Wide receiver, Marquez Callaway

Finally, Callaway has a game where he couldn’t be stopped. Maybe he is Chryst go-to guy? Callaway caught nine passes for 115 yards with a 12.7 average. Callaway racked up 50 yards after the catch.

Defense – Defensive lineman, Shy Tuttle

Tuttle gets the nod for players of the game with eight total tackles with five of those being solo. He also accounted for 0.5 sacks.

Key games around the SEC

Missouri beats Vanderbilt 35-28 to advance to a 5-0 record on the season.

Kentucky loses to South Carolina 21-3 to fall to 0-5 on the season.
