No. 4 – February 24 @ Ole Miss Rebels

Minutes: 35

FG: 9-of-14

3PT: 2-of-4

Assists: 3

Rebounds: 7

Points: 25

We told you Schofield liked playing in the state of Mississippi. His fourth best game from a season ago came against the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, Mississippi.

Ole Miss wasn’t a good team. In fact, Lamonte Turner, Kyle Alexander, and Jordan Bone all had one of their best games of the season against them. The Rebels finished last in the SEC and fired their head coach at the time, Andy Kennedy. So, that is basically how the season went.

Schofield played 35 minutes and poured in 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting. He also gave the Vols a lift by shooting 50 percent from the three-point line. And, despite playing the three position most games, he still managed to grab seven rebounds against the Rebels.

He took what the defense gave him and got to the free-throw line seven times and connected on five of them. There was a point in the first half where Schofield led the Vols with nine points in only five minutes of action.

Like Lamonte Turner, Schofield showed out on the road, and the first two games that made our list were away games for the Vols. Moving forward, I bet you can guess, another game on the road.
