Finally, coming in first on our list was the first game against the Kentucky Wildcats in Knoxville. This was a huge game when it came to setting the tone for the rest of the season. The Vols were 0-2 in the SEC heading into the Kentucky game. A loss would have hurt any chances for a regular season championship.

Schofield almost had a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. He also shot 3-of-7 from the three-point line in 33 minutes of action.

This game showed Tennessee fans that basketball was about to be played in Knoxville. And, it was a great way to get the ball rolling on a good season.

The Vols are going to need Schofield to bring these types of games next season to be successful. There will be no sneaking up on teams this year; everyone will be ready for Tennessee.
