Tennessee basketball: Recapping Jordan Bowden’s best 5 games of 2017-18

3PT: 5-of-7

Rebounds: 2
Points: 19
Oh, how we love the in-state rivals. Okay, not so much, but they aren’t as hated as Flordia, Georgia, or Alabama, right? The Vols played the Commodores twice last season, and both turned out to be exciting games to watch.
The first game in Nashville was a 92-84 thriller where Grant Williams had 37 points to help the Vols get the win. The Commodores were not that great of a team, yet the game in Knoxville was even closer.
Coach Rick Barnes was riding the hot hand as Bowden played 37 minutes in the game. Only three minutes shy of playing the whole game. Bowden scored 19 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the three-point line. He was 6-for-10 from the field with two rebounds and one turnover.
Bowden’s 19 points led the team. In fact, only he and Grant Williams were in double figures for the game. This game fell in between four lousy performances for Bowden. Before the Vanderbilt game, he had two points against Missouri and zero points against South Carolina.
Moving forward, the first out of conference opponent in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
