  • Any road win is a good win in college basketball. Well in all of college sports for that matter.

Traveling to Wake Forest was the Vols second true road test of the season, and didn’t they succeed? The Demon Deacons were never in the 79-60 loss to the Vols.

This game fell earlier in the season when Jordan Bowden was lighting the net on fire. In 28 minutes of action, Bowden was a perfect 5-for-5 from the three-point line. He also added two made free throws to give him 17 total points on the game.

The win gave the Vols nine before jumping into conference play. If Vol fans were given the option to start the season 9-2, everyone would have taken that. And, Bowden was a considerable part of that success.

His 5-for-5 performance from the three-point line was apart of a span during earlier in the season when he was leading the SEC by shooting close to 60 percent.

Next up is another game from early in the season where Bowden had a great night from beyond the arc.
