SEC Nation to travel to Tennessee Vols opener – Amanda Brooks, ESPN Media Zone
Tennessee football’s opener against the West Virginia Mountaineers will have the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show in attendance. SEC Nation is going to Charlotte for the game, which will be their second road trip of the weekend. The first will be in College Station on Thursday for the Texas A&M Aggies opener and Jimbo Fisher’s debut as head coach there against the Northwestern State. Laura Rutledge, Paul Finebaum, Marcus Spears, and Tim Tebow, will be on the desk with help from reporter Lauren Sisler and ESPN the Magazine writer Ryan McGee.

Tennessee Lady Vols extend Holly Warlick’s contract – Maria Cornelius, GoVols247
Tennessee women’s basketball head coach Holly Warlick’s contract was set to expire at the end of next year. However, she has now signed an extension through 2022.
"Warlick is entering her seventh year as head coach of the Lady Vols. Her career SEC winning percentage is .740 with a record of 71-25, which ranks Warlick first among all SEC head coaches."
Former Vol Charles Davis shows support for Pruitt – Dan Harralson, Volswire.com
Charles Davis, who played for Johnny Majors and the Tennessee Vols football team from 1983 to 1986, gave his ‘full support’ to Jeremy Pruitt. Here’s a bit of what he said.
