No. 1 – Jauan Jennings, Wide Receiver

Coming in at the first position on our rankings is wide receiver, Jauan Jennings. He is nursing a hyperextension but should be ready to go for the season opener against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Last season Jennings went down with a wrist injury in against Georgia Tech that sidelined him the rest of the season. The injury led to frustrations that effected Jennings attitude towards the coaches, hence the video rant yelling explicit content towards the coaching staff.

However, that is behind everyone. And, when Jennings is on the field, he makes a difference. Taking a look at his stats, they are not the best. They are good, but other receivers on the team outperformed him when it comes to stats.

But, Jennings is a gamer and make the big plays over and over again. That type of player is vital to any team. Jennings is not afraid to talk trash and back it up.

If Jennings can bring his big play mojo, the Vols could be in better shape than most people are giving them credit. He will need to have a better attitude, but that will come with a new head coach in town.
