Staying on the same side of the ball and same position group, senior wide receiver Gary Jennings Jr. makes our five to watch list. Like Sills, Jennings is a fantastic receiver and can easily produce a 100-yard game.

  • Jennings is a big 6-foot-2 receiver that is going to demand attention. Last season he had four games with over ten receptions. Along with being targeted a lot, he also had four games where he had over 1,000 receiving yards.

Jennings finished the season with 1,096 receiving yards on 97 receptions with one only touchdown. The single touchdown stands out because the other stats were so good.

Quarterback Will Grier will look to Jennings early and often, and it will be up to see if the young defensive backs can stop the dynamic wide receiver.

It is safe to say that Jennings and Sills are going to make plays. More than likely they are going to make a couple of big plays. Jennings and Stills have the talent to take over a game and really make it difficult for the Volunteers to stay close.

Pruitt likes to rely on his defensive backs to play straight up one-on-one. However, they might need some help against this receiving core.
