The Tennessee Vols football team wrapped up another practice Wednesday ahead of its Saturday opener against the West Virginia Mountaineers. In the process, Jeremy Pruitt spoked to the media to provide updates on how things are going. He noted that Jauan Jennings is hungry and that he’s confident in his wide receivers overall. Here’s a snippet of what he said Wednesday.

"“From what I’ve seen, I like what I’ve seen out of our guys. From where we were at nine months ago to where we’re at today physically and mentally, I like the direction we’re headed.”"

Former Tennessee Vols football quarterbacks Tyler Bray and Joshua Dobbs will start the fourth and final preseason games for each of their teams. Bray joined the Chicago Bears this offseason and will go up against the Buffalo Bills. Dobbs, who is trying to keep his roster spot, will lead the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Carolina Panthers.

"Tyler Bray’s spot on the roster looks much more secure than Dobbs’. The Bears will likely carry three quarterbacks in 2018, and Bray will definitely be one of them."

Tennessee soccer to face Wright State – Noah Taylor, The Daily Beacon

The No. 10 ranked Tennessee Lady Vols soccer team will take on the Wright State Raiders Thursday night. At 3-0-1, Brian Pensky’s team will be looking to stay undefeated. The match begins at 7 p.m. at Regal Soccer Stadium in Knoxville and will be televised on SEC Network Plus.

"The last time Tennessee took the field resulted in a 3-0 win over Xavier in which offense and defense dominated to clinch the Vols’ third shutout win of the season. That collective effort and team chemistry is something Pensky would like to see continue in their match up against Wright State."
