1. “Vols will only win four games this season.”

The season is over. It will be another four-win season for the Tennessee football team. This is all over social media. And believe it or not, there are a lot of people that have that mindset.

What is going on Vol Nation? Why are you throwing in the towel so early? Was it because you thought the Vols would play better? I predicted a 38-30 win by the Mountaineers. And, quite honestly both teams could have scored more points.

The first half the Vols played real tough. If you are a fan, you had to be happy only down 13-7 at halftime. But, the team is young, really young. And, the older players on the team don’t know how to win.

This process is going to take time but to say the Vols can’t win five or six games is rather silly. This will is going to look much different in a month.

I know Vol nation wants to win. Every fan base wants to win. But, it is going to take time. And, yes we have all heard that before. However, this time feels different. Pruitt is a great defensive mind, and that’s what you need in the SEC.
