It is going to be a hot one when the Volunteers take on ETSU. Here is the weather report from Knoxville for Saturdays Tennessee football game.

We are only one day away from the first home game of the 2018 Tennessee football season. That in itself means a lot. It means the first-time head coach Jeremy Pruitt runs through the “T” at home. It will be the first-time freshman get to play in front of the home crowd. And, it will be the first win of the young season. That’s right the Vols should easily win this game.

All that sounds great, right? Well, it is. But, there is some bad news. It is going to be a hot one, and there is a chance of rain. So pack your sunscreen and maybe a rain jacket just in case.

1:00 pm – 86 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 15 percent chance of rain.

2:00 pm – 87 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 15 percent chance of rain.

3:00 pm – 87 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 15 percent chance of rain.

Kick off at 4:00 pm – 87 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 20 percent chance of rain.

5:00 pm – 86 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 20 percent chance of rain.

6:00 pm – 84 degrees with sunny skies and a 30 percent chance of rain.

7:00 pm – 82 degrees with cloudy skies and a 40 percent chance of rain.

8:00 pm – 80 degrees with cloudy skies and a 35 percent chance of rain.

It doesn’t appear weather is going to make much of an impact on the game. The Vols should be able to work the passing game as much as they want between both Jarrett Guarantano and Keller Chryst.

The weather will be a tad hot but should be near perfect for Jeremy Pruitt’s first home game. Knoxville weather is crazy, so as always we will let you know if anything changes.
