No.2 – Quardraiz Wadley, Junior Running Back

If you take a look at Quardraiz Wadley numbers, they won’t impress you. In fact, you’ll question why Wadley made out top five Miners to watch against the Vols.

  • And, there is the fact UTEP is not a good football team. They are arguably the worst team in division one. However, Wadley is having his best season yet.

On only 15 carries this season, he has accounted for 139 rushing yards which is good enough for 9.3 average per carry. He also has added two touchdowns which is the most in his career.

Last season Wadley only ran for a total of 277 yards. So far in just two games, he is already halfway there. The problem is, the Miners are awful and always find themselves in passing situations.

Tennessee gave up 125 yards on the ground to East Tennessee State last Saturday so it wouldn’t surprise us a bit if Wadley can produce close to a 100-yard game.

He has two things going for him. The Vols will give up extra yards in garbage time. And, maybe he can catch a few of defensive players looking ahead to their matchup against the Florida Gators.
