This game will be all about Jarrett Stidham. The matter of the fact is that he was dreadful last time these two teams matched up. He only completed 9 passes all game long plus he struggled to get anything going for the Auburn offense. I think LSU will throw the kitchen sink at him and he will be under pressure all night long. For Auburn to win this game, it will be up to Stidham to make all the correct, fast decisions at the competition he will be going against this LSU Defense.
The matter of this game is that Auburn is playing at home. I also think Stidham will play to his potential, and Auburn’s defense will take care of business. LSU’s offense will need to open it up a bit. It will be up to Burrow to do that. But if Burrow makes a mistake, this Tiger offense won’t be able to move the ball due to a lack of confidence. Ultimately, Auburn finds a way to win in the Plains of Dixie.

The primetime SEC game of week could end up not being as good as most might think. Maybe, I bought into the media hype with how good the Miami Hurricanes were going to be this season. Perhaps, they aren’t that good. However, LSU dominated that game from start to finish.
Quarterback for LSU, Joe Burrow is only completing 47.7 percent of his passes which isn’t great.
On the other hand, Auburn’s defense is outstanding and sure pose a lot of problems for LSU. There shouldn’t be many points scored in this one so I am taking the quarterback I trust most and that is Jarrett Stidham.
Auburn: 24 LSU: 17 (LSU +10; Under 45)

This is the SEC game of the week, and it’s a dandy. It’s also a tough one. Nobody knows whether or not to believe in Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers yet. It’s more questionable than even Jeremy Pruitt with Tennessee football, despite LSU’s dominant win over the Miami Hurricanes to start the year. Meanwhile, the Auburn Tigers are clearly at full strength with Gus Malzahn leading them.
Playing at home and after last year’s loss, they’re not going to take LSU lightly. LSU still has no quarterback, and the Tigers have the high-powered offense to move the ball. And their defense is just as good as LSU’s. So I’ve got Auburn winning and covering, but the history of this game shows very little scoring. As a result, I’ve also got the under.
Auburn: 24 LSU: 7 (Auburn -10.5; Under 45)
