It is going to be a mildly hot day when the Volunteers take on UTEP. Here is the weather report from Knoxville for Saturdays Tennessee football game.
We want to take a moment and say our thoughts and prayers are with the good folks from the Carolinas. We hope the storm passes without doing any damage and you find your homes and other valuables unharmed.
That being said, Hurricane Florence is going to have zero impact on the Tennessee football game. And, if you happen to be from the Carolinas, you can check out the game for free. That’s right; you have a free ticket to Tennessee vs. UTEP for free under one condition. You have to root for the Vols.

As you can see with the weather forecast, there isn’t much going on. If you are starting your tailgate around 9:00 am you will enjoy fantastic weather. Even at kickoff, the weather seems to be manageable. However, it will get hotter throughout the game.
So far, there is no chance of bad weather. But, I suppose you never know since the Vols for 2-2 when it comes to lightning delays.
Should be as close to perfect conditions as possible to watch the Vols advance to a 2-1 overall record this season. As always we will keep you posted if anything changes. Fingers crossed no lightning delays. I’m not sure I can take another one.
