It was a beautiful day in Knoxville for some Tennessee football. You’d think in a 24-0 win against the UTEP Miners but that is not the case. The Vols tallied over 500 yards of offense yet only had 24 points to show for it.

Silly penalties and lackadaisical effort made this game closer than it should have been. However, we don’t take much from it. The Florida Gators come to town next week and I’m sure that was on the minds’ of all the players.

Let’s take a look back at some of the notable moments on Saturday. Here is a look at some of the memorable photos from the game.

As you can see from the photos, there was some decent effort in the game. The defensive line had times where they got pressure on the quarterback enough if it was slow pressure. The young defensive backs played well, and Jarrett Guarantano and the running backs played great games.

Now, the Vols will turn their attention to the Florida Gators as they come into town next Saturday. The Gators aren’t having the best of seasons. They let the Kentucky Wildcats come into the Swamp and beat them for the first time in 31 years.

Just like in previous years, the Tennessee vs. Florida game isn’t going to mean much when it comes to the SEC East division race. Georiga has all but wrapped up their trip to Atlanta. However, a win against Florida is always what Tennessee fans want.
