Tennessee football’s rivalry with Florida resumes Saturday. The Volunteers and Gators lead our Week 4 SEC and Top 25 predictions.

We’ve reached Week 4, and Tennessee football finally begins SEC play. As is usually tradition, the beginning of the conference season also marks the biggest game of the year for the Vols. Even if the game has lost its luster, their match-up with the Florida Gators is huge this year.

It’s been an exciting three weeks to start the season. Almost every team in the league has played at least one quality opponent, and a few have played two. Here’s a look at how we all fared in our picks last weekend.

Week 3 recap: (Record on gambling picks are tiebreakers)

Billy Williford: 25-12 overall

11-2 straight-up, 14-10 gambling (7-5 ATS, 7-5 O/U )

Garrett Sanders: 24-13 overall

11-2 straight-up, 13-11 gambling (7-5 ATS, 6-6 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun: 24-13 overall

11-2 straight-up, 13-11 gambling (5-7 ATS, 8-4 O/U)

Record on unanimous gambling picks: 5-4

As you can see, Billy Williford once again had the best week, albeit barely. And we struggled with our unanimous picks, but at least they were above .500. Here’s a look at where we all stand against each other for the year.

Overall standings

Billy Williford: 71-33 overall

36-6 straight-up, 35-27 gambling (17-14 ATS, 18-13 O/U)

Garrett Sanders: 67-37 overall

33-9 straight-up, 32-28 gambling (19-12 ATS, 15-16 O/U)

Caleb Calhoun 63-41 overall

34-8 straight-up, 29-33 gambling (12-19 ATS, 17-14 O/U)

Overall record on unanimous gambling picks: 12-10

Again, our unanimous gambling picks are barely above .500. But Billy Williford is pulling away from us in every way, especially when it comes to the gambling picks. Crazy enough, his personal record is better than our cumulative record.

This weekend, Tennessee football’s match-up with Florida marks a new start to the season. We’re done with half the teams in the league playing non-conference no-name foes, as has been the case of the last three weeks. It’s now time for the conference season to really start.

And this week, all but two teams in the league play another SEC team. Add in one non-conference Top 25 game, and we’ve got nine games to bring you overall. So with the real season, here are our Week 4 Tennessee football, SEC, and Top 25 predictions.
