Another phrase I never thought I would say but I’m excited to see how this game plays out. Mississippi State looks like one of the best teams in the country. The offense is clicking under Nick Fitzgerald, and the defense looks better than ever.

Kentucky, on the other hand, is still riding high over their win against Florida. The first time in 31 years. It’s been fun for Wildcat nation in the first three games of the season, but that fun ends this Saturday.

Overall, this Mississippi State team is just far more superior than Kentucky. Sure, Snell will get some decent runs. However, the Wildcats offense will be facing a lot of pressure to throw the ball being behind. This will cause the offense to struggle and not be able to move the ball.

Another thing I see to look out for in this game is the turnover margin. It will play a significant role in this game. Kentucky seems to turn over the ball a lot. This is where the Bulldogs will have the advantage in and be the difference in the game. Overall, the Bulldogs should get plenty of chances to capitalize with Kentucky’s mistakes. More likely than not, Nick Fitzgerald will do just that.

The Kentucky Wildcats proved they are legit two weeks ago after a shocking upset over the Florida Gators. Mark Stoops’s team is getting better by the week, and at 3-0, they are riding high with a chance to prove themselves against the Mississippi State Bulldogs this week at home. Joe Moorhead’s Bulldogs, meanwhile, haven’t lost a step offensively as he replaced Dan Mullen. So what happens?

Well, I think Kentucky’s win over Florida was more about the Gators being bad this year. We’ll know of that for sure when they face Tennessee football this weekend. But we have to make this pick ahead of time. With still too many questions about the Wildcats, I’ve got the Bulldogs covering. They’ll win and hit the over.
