Tennessee football: Photo gallery from Vols 47-21 loss vs. Gators
The Vols move to 2-2 and 0-1 in the SEC on the season with the 47-21 loss against Florida. Here is the photo gallery from Tennessee vs. Gators game.
Just when you thought Tennessee football had a chance against the Florida Gators, your thoughts and dreams were crushed from the start of the game. Another slow start from the Vols offense plus a couple of turnovers and Florida had the game in the bag early.
Every year Vol fans say the same things, “Florida is down this year.” Or I know you’ve heard this one before, “if we don’t beat them this year, we never will.” And at the current moment, it seems like the Vols will never get the win.
Let’s take a look back at some of the notable moments on Saturday. Spoiler alert: There isn’t a lot of good from the Vols. Here is a look at some of the memorable photos from the game.
If you’re a Vols fan, you hate to see some of those photos. Poor Jarrett Guarantano gets rocked almost every time he drops back to pass. I think there is at least one picture from every game where a defensive player is crushing him.
At the end of the gallery, there are a lot of Florida fans and players loving life and celebrating in Neyland Stadium. That should make everyone involved with this program upset and ready to improve.
It doesn’t appear to get any easier for the Vols. They play three top ten teams in back-to-back-to-back games. After that three-game stretch, Tennessee travels to Columbia, SC for a game with the South Carolina Gamecocks. That isn’t going to be an easy task either.
I don’t have to say it; the photo gallery tells us that it is going to be another long season for the Tennessee football program.
