Tennessee football’s stock report following week 4 of 2018 has a focus on the experienced Volunteers who need to step up more.

Well on a general scale, the Tennessee football stock market is the equivalent of the Great Recession at this point. Everything is down, and it’s continuing to fall, and with the brutal schedule ahead, there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight.

Taking that into account, our stock report for the Vols couldn’t find much positive. What stock, if any, is being overvalued right now? Which stocks are positive period? The market overall has bottomed out, and you could say a Great Depression is on the way.

After their 47-21 loss to the Florida Gators, fans are already questioning the state of Tennessee football in its new era led by Jeremy Pruitt. We haven’t even gotten out of his first month yet, and the criticism is starting to rise.

That’s how crazy Vol Twitter gets. I’d call for patience, and most on Rocky Top would agree. But the loudest voices in the room, and yes, I’m one of them, would drown out the masses. That’s how social media works nowadays.

Anyway, this week’s stock report, believe it or not, did have a couple of positives. The hard part was narrowing the negatives on a broad enough scale, but we did a good job of using a big umbrella for that, which you’ll see in a minute.

So what’s the state of the program with one more game left in Jeremy Pruitt’s first September? Where is the value? Find out here with our Tennessee football stock report following week 4 of the 2018 season.
