Tennessee football will be looking to pull off an upset for the ages Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs. Here are the 10 keys for the Volunteers vs. UGA.

After a horrible loss to the Florida Gators, Tennessee football now has to get set for an even more brutal stretch run. It starts with a game at the No. 2 ranked team in the country and last year’s national championship runner-up, the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Vols are going to need the greatest miracle in school history to pull off this upset, and the oddsmakers agree. That’s why they have been named 32-point underdogs. But the only way to make that miracle possible is if they also manage to do a few specific things within the game.

Believe it or not, Georgia has shown a few weaknesses throughout the early part of this year. And if Tennessee football begins to execute better, they may have the exact personnel necessary to be able to exploit those weaknesses.

As we get set to bring you the keys to Saturday’s game, it’s important to note that these are the keys that just determine whether or not UGA will coast to a blowout victory or be in a bit of a fight. It’s a pretty easy bet, at this point, that they’re going to win.

But if all of these things go the Vols’ way, and if there’s a football God watching down on Sanford Stadium, maybe this game could become interesting. Hey, there have been greater point spreads overcome than this one.

Okay, so we’re stretching a bit here, but it’s worth thinking about. Anyway, let’s take a look at the factors that will determine how this game plays out. These are the 10 keys to the game when Tennessee football travels to Athens to face the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday.
