No.3 – D’Andre Swift, Running Back

Two things you can count on every single year. Alabama is going to be one of the best teams in the nation, and the Georgia Bulldogs are going to have stud running backs.

  • You would think after losing Nick Chubb and Sony Michel to the NFL Draft, Georgia’s running game wouldn’t be as good. And, maybe it isn’t on that level just yet, but D’Andre Swift is picking up the slack.

Georiga’s running woes are more on the offensive line than anything else this season.

Swift has ran the ball 40 times for 190 yards with two touchdowns. You might remember Swift from the SEC Championship Game last season where he ran for 88 yards against Auburn with one touchdown.

He might not be 100 percent for the game on Saturday due to a nagging groin injury he has been dealing with since Middle Tennessee State.

Even so, if Swift can get going, it could be a long day for the Tennessee defense. The defensive line has been horrible getting any type of push, so it could be six-seven yards downfield before Swift, and the other running backs get touched.

We think Swift will find the end zone at least once in Saturday’s game. If he does, that could get him going to have a big game against the Vols.
