No. 20 BYU Cougars at No. 11 Washington Huskies

Saturday, Sept. 29 at 8:30 p.m. E.T.; Husky Stadium; Seattle, Wash.

TV: Fox; Line: Washington -17; Over/Under: 46

Caleb Calhoun

The BYU Cougars have to be feeling pretty good about sneaking into the Top 25 en route to a 3-1 record right now. Facing the Washington Huskies, this is set to be an extremely exciting Saturday night game that nobody saw coming. However, the line doesn’t make sense. Washington is a 17-point favorite, but the over/under is set at 46. That’s insanely low.

So what’s going to happen? Well, the Huskies are at home and clearly the better team. Chris Petersen’s crew is going to win for that reason. However, they’ve kept all their games against FBS teams relatively close, and there’s no reason to think that’ll change this weekend. So Washington wins, but they don’t cover. And given their style of play, take the under.

Washington: 28 BYU: 17 (BYU +17; Under 46)

BYU has two very impressive road wins against Arizona and Wisconsin. It's safe to say they will for sure not be intimidated by going on the way to Washington. While BYU is doing something impressive this season, Washington is lightyears ahead of the Cougars as far as talent is concerned.

Jake Browning will get the Huskies going in the first half and will air it out. BYU will not have any answers on defense to stop Browning and company from scoring. Washington's defense is also elite as well. They should force enough turnovers and three-and-outs to keep the Cougars from being a threat. Overall, Washington should win this game pretty convincingly.

BYU surprised a lot of people with their upset win against Wisconsin. Was that because BYU is good, or Wisconsin like the entire Big Ten is overrated?

BYU is probably a decent football team, one that Tennessee football will have to play next season. But, no chance that get the win this week, or even covers the spread.

Washington has only allowed over 20 points one time, and that was to Auburn. BYU isn’t Auburn, and the game is at home for the Huskies.

Washington: 28 BYU: 9 (Washington -17.5; Under 46)
