Tennessee football’s morale is at an all-time low right now, and they are facing a Georgia Bulldogs team on a roll. Simply put, there’s no way the Vols win this game. Coming off a blowout loss to the Florida Gators in which they committed six turnovers and allowed a safety, they are still learning this offense. So the Dawgs will destroy them, which is the reason for the 31-point line, a historic high in this series.
However, a few things work in the Vols’ favor. Jeremy Pruitt has hinted that they had their best week of practice, and you can see the potential of this team if they just learn to execute. On top of that, UGA has a couple of injuries on the offensive line and no real pass rush. So what does this all mean? The Dawgs will win, yes. But they won’t cover. Add in the Vols’ ball-control offense, and assuming they correct their turnover issues, take the under in this one.
Georgia: 34 Tennessee: 10 (Tennessee +31; Under 51.5)

Overall, Georgia is the better team. No one will give Tennessee a chance to win this game. Not after last week’s humiliating performance against Florida. The goal for Tennessee football in this game is to come out and avoid any careless mistakes. Jeremy Pruitt knows that his team is not there yet. On the other side of things, Georgia is looking to win a National Championship.
Let’s not also forget that the last time the Vols came to Athens, they won on a Hail Mary. Georgia will remember that. This game could be gruesome for the Vols. Ultimately, Georgia will do whatever it is necessary to come out, and absolute humiliate Tennessee. Unfortunately for Tennessee, they won’t be able to avoid that.

The game we have all been waiting for all season. Okay, not really, it would look less embarrassing if Tennessee football forfeited the game.
There really is nothing to break down here. The Vols stink right now in many aspects of the game. And, on the other side, Georgia is really really good. Their offensive line is enormous, and they have four good running backs that can take it to the house on any given play.
History shows the Vols cover with ease. Georgia has never beaten the Vols by more than 20 points in back-to-back seasons despite the ranking disparities. And, for some reason, Tennessee loves playing in Athens. But, sometimes history is wrong. Bulldogs roll.
Georgia: 45 Tennessee: 13 (Georgia -31; Over 50)
