It’s that time of week again; it’s Friday, and that means mail time. Oh, and it’s Georgia week if anyone cares. Is Kelly Bryant to the Vols a good move?

It’s finally Friday, and you know what that means, only more day till Tennessee football. The Vols are 31.5-point underdogs as they take on the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday in Athens. Let’s not kid ourselves; this game probably won’t be close. But history shows this rivalry has been closer than most might think.

Since 2000, Georgia has a 12.9 point margin of victory against the Vols. The past five Bulldogs wins have been even closer with a 12.4 point margin of victory. Then there is the fact that Georgia has never beat the Vols by more than 20 points in back-to-back seasons. So, maybe, just maybe there is hope.

On to the mailbag, but first, we know you all have questions, thoughts, and comments. You’re welcome to send them to b.williford14@gmail.com any day during the week to be answered in the Friday mailbag.

Jeremy A writes…I might be the world’s worst gambler, should I bet against the Vols this weekend?

If you have the money to blow, what is there to lose? The way I see it there is only money to be made. If you are as bad at gambling as you say you are maybe you can change the whole season. Maybe, you can be the Vols good luck charm.

Look, to be as serious as I can be, 31.5 points is a lot of points for Georgia to cover. Yes, they did it last year, but the Vols play good in Athens. Take a chance on the Vols and get rich.
