The Vols move to 2-3 and 0-2 in the SEC on the season with the 38-12 loss against Georgia. Here is the photo gallery from Tennessee vs. Bulldogs game.

The game has been over for an hour, and as I sit here and reflect on the outcome, Vols fans should be happy, right? Don’t get me wrong; there is nothing exceptional about a 26-point loss. However, most fans expected a lot worse. The Vols covered the spread, and they didn’t get shutout.

This performance looked much better than it did last week. And, that’s what Vol fans wanted, right? We all wanted to see improvement, and that’s what we got.

Let’s take a look back at some of the notable moments on Saturday. Unlike last week, there are some nice photos of the Volunteers.

The first picture in our post is Darrell Taylor forcing a fumble as Jake Fromm dropped back to pass. How great did Darrell Taylor look today? Is this a sign of how the coaching staff is much better at developing players than the previous coaching staff? Taylor forced two fumbles and had three sacks.

Some other photos showed Ty Chandler breaking tackles. If you want positives from the game, you have to throw Chandler in the mix. He finished the game with five carries for 27 rushing yards and four receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.

It was another 20-plus point loss but it feels differnet. After the Floirda game there were a lot of negaitve vibes flying around the Tennessee football program. But, now, maybe the Vols can win an SEC game this season.

Tennessee is coming up to their bye week before they travel down to Auburn to take on the Tigers. Do the Vols have the chance? Fingers crossed, this team plays better after a bye than Butch Jones’ teams did.
